2026 Run of the Mill 5K Race – Certified Course
Sept. 13, 2026
5K race starts at 8 a.m.
Where: Race/walk begins at Jordan Middle School and ends at Lagoon Park.
Entry Fee:
5K – $20 pre-registration
$25 race day registration (race day registrations are not guaranteed a t-shirt)
Bonus: Pre-register and receive $5 in Heimatfest bucks!
Course: Race begins at Jordan Middle School. The 5K route is flat and downhill. Strollers are allowed, but no bikes, rollerblades or pets.
Awards: Medals awarded to the top two male and female finishers in each category after the Family Fun Run.
Heimatfest Celebration: The Run of the Mill is held in conjunction with the Jordan Heimatfest Celebration, a day-long celebration of life in the Jordan community. Parade at 11 a.m., park events begin at noon.

½-mile race starts at 9 a.m.
Where: Race begins at River Valley School and ends at Lagoon Park.
Entry Fee:
Adults are free!
$10 pre-registration
$10 race day registration (race day registrations are not guaranteed a t-shirt)
Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Course: Race begins at River Valley School. The ½-mile course is primarily flat and downhill. The race concludes at Lagoon Park. Strollers are allowed, but no bikes, rollerblades or pets.
